Cynthia finally rests in peace

burial is strictly private, Family and close relatives only. The family of late Cynthia Osokogu has finally fixed her burial date and it is scheduled for today, October 5, 2012 at their family home. But contrary to the general notion that people would troop to the late Cynthia’s interment, the family had issued a press statement on Wednesday that Cynthia’s burial will only be attended by family members and few other selected individuals. This was disclosed by a member of the family, Kenneth Uchechukwu Osokogu. The statement reads“On behalf of the Osokogu family, I write to appreciate the Nigerian media and the general public for their concern, support and care during the disappearance and death of our daughter and sister, Cynthia-Valerie Udoka Osokogu.” “Words alone cannot convey the depth of our gratitude for the role you played in finding her and in the arrest of her suspected murderers.” “My family and I will lay our dear sister to rest by the Grace of God on the October 5, 2012 in a private family interment ceremony. You will recall that we had a public service of songs and requiem mass in her honour,” Mr Kenneth had reiterated thus “We would appreciate if the wish of the family for a private interment for Cynthia was respected.”
